This handsome bear is a 1912 Replica 'Titanic Memorial Bear'. Following the sinking of the Titanic in 1912, Steiff produced black teddy bears to serve as mourning or memorial tokens. He has black mohair fur, felt paw pads and red eyes (the red eyes are to simulate crying from grief). He is fully jointed, and includes a tilt growl. He is limited edition, number 431 out of 1912.

He comes with his box and certificate of authenticity.
