The Bear Shop
We opened our Norwich shop in 1990

and our bears have been available on the Internet since 1998.

Our shop staff
provide a personal service to bear lovers who are warmly welcomed to our shop. We encourage folks to lift the bears from the shelves, to cuddle them and to see if the bears would be happy to go home with them. Most of us at the shop have been here from the start and are bear collectors ourselves, so we are only too happy to help our fellow arctophiles.

or click "Add to Order" on the bear's page and view your cart. "Enquire Here" will take you to an order form you can fill out to give us your address and contact details. We will then be in touch by phone or email to arrange payment and your preferred date of delivery by a reputable courier. Your new bear could be with you the following day!

Payment is accepted on all major credit/debit cards, and by UK personal cheques.
Overseas sales will be charged in British pounds, converted at the exchange rate at the time of sale. To calculate the cost of your bear in another currency, you can use an online converter such as

Delivery / Shipping Costs

All our bears are carefully boxed and wrapped to ensure a safe transit to their new homes. A charge of £5 to help towards the cost is applied to all parcels sent within the UK.

Outside the UK, we charge only the carriage cost. This cost is relayed to you before payment is taken, and the VAT tax is deducted from your purchase. All parcels are insured and sent to you by Royal Mail or by a reputable courier.

If you wish to enclose a personal message of gift card we are happy to oblige.

Layaway is available for all purchases

You can pay for your bear with a 35% deposit, then spread your payments over three months. We send your bear when payment is complete. Please note that any payments made cannot be refunded, but can be transferred to another bear.

Price match on manufactured bears

We believe we have some of the lowest prices in any retail shop in the UK.

If you discover any manufactured bear at a genuine retail shop for sale at a lower price, we will do all we can to match it. We will require proof of the lower price.

If you have any quality mohair bears you would like to sell, please send us an email and we'll take a look!

You can rest assured that we do not disclose any information about you to anybody else.

Nor do we spam you with promotions, special offers and the like.
