Based on the design of Merrythought’s iconic Diana bear, which we originally created in 1997, this is a collectable bear of exceptional elegance and grace. She is meticulously hand-crafted from superior quality mohair, combined with the softest pure cotton velvet, and features iridescent aquamarine eyes alongside an oyster-pink hand-embroidered nose.
This exquisite bear is accessorised with a delicate raw silk and pearl trim collar, secured with a satin ribbon bow. Since Princess Diana was known to many as ‘England’s Rose’, she symbolically clasps a hand-made pure silk single rose held between her hand-paws, which in turn contain small magnets so they can be positioned either opened or closed.
Launched in the year that marks 25 years since Diana’s passing, this unique collector’s item pays tribute to the beauty and kindness that she, the People’s Princess, was so adored for around the world.
Each bear is individually numbered as part of a special edition and with a certificate.
