Julie Shepherd Bears

Julie first discovered the wonderful world of artist bears quite by accident when on a shopping trip to Brighton in 1992. Inspired by the magical creations she saw, she bought a kit and made her first bear. She exhibited at her first fair later that year and has been creating ever since. Her bears and their friends are all her own work from design to completion. Over the years, her style has evolved, but the one constant has been to create bears and bunnies with a kind and gentle expression.

Over the years, her bears have appeared in many teddy-related publications, including Teddy Bear Times, Teddy Bear Club International, Teddy Bear Scene and Teddy Bear & Friends.
