Bears are traditional Edwardian style characters, dressed in
period clothing, using original vintage fabrics and accessories.
They are created in Essex by Jennie Sharmann-Cox who has been
making bears since 1990. Jennie has been a window dresser, a
potter, clothes designer and theatrical costumier. She now indulges
her passion for old fabrics and haberdashery which shows in the
authentically dressed bears she creates. Jennie also has a great
interest in antiques, vintage clothing and anything, as she says,
"Old and quirky"! |
