Laurie Lou Bears are made right here in Norwich by Laurie Wicks. A relative newcomer to the scene, Laurie started in 2005 but is now well established as a creator of a wide range of traditional bears and elephants. She also enjoys making 'minis' and the more modern style of bear. When not making bears, Laurie is a part-time postwoman and volunteer at her local infant school, helping the children with their reading and assisting with school outings. She still finds time for walking and cycling and says that her favourite holiday destination is the North Yorkshire Moors
