The Bear Shop We opened our Norwich shop in
1990 and our bears have been available on the Internet since
1998.
Our shop staff provide a personal service to
bear lovers who are warmly welcomed to our shop. We encourage
folks to lift the bears from the shelves, to cuddle them and
to see if the bears would be happy to go home with them. Most
of us at the shop have been here from the start and are bear
collectors ourselves, so we are only too happy to help our fellow
addicts
Our photographer can take photographs of any of the bears for
you to look at on your computer. And bears going abroad can have
their very own passport

simplicity itself. Just pad on over to our Contact Us page. Here
you will find our contact details and a form you can use to send
us any query about the bears. Of course, you can just click on
Order Now above and place an order straight way. Your online
purchase will be handled by the same dedicated staff who serve
in our shop. You can pay for your bear using our Secure Online
service and your new bear can be on its way to you the same day
Payment
is accepted in all major Credit / Debit Cards, including American
Express, and by UK Personal Cheques
Overseas sales will be charged in British pounds converted at
the exchange rate prevailing at the time of the sale To calculate the cost of your bear in another currency

Delivery / Shipping Costs are Free in the UK on orders over 50 pounds.
Outside the UK, shipping costs depend on the weight and size
of the package. We will tell you the cost when you place your
order but before we take payment. All bears are insured and sent
by Royal Mail or by a Courier whom we trust to deliver your bear
promptly and safely. All our bears are carefully wrapped and
boxed to ensure a safe transit to their new homes
Layaway is
available for all bear purchases. You can pay for your bear with
a small deposit then spread your payments over 3 months. Please
note that any payments made can not be refunded but can be transfered
to another bear
Bears as gifts can
be gift-wrapped at no extra cost, in addition to our normal careful
boxing. A personal message can be included if you wish

Price Match on
Manufactured Bears. We believe we have some of the lowest prices
in any retail shop in the UK. If you discover any Manufactured
Bear at a genuine retail shop for sale at a lower price we will
do all we can to match it. We will require proof of the lower
price
Your Personal Privacy is very important to us. You can rest assured
that we do not disclose any information about you to anybody
else. Nor do we spam you with promotions, special offers and
the like. Your phone number and email address are safe with us.
Also, if you pay for your Bear online we can assure you of the
very highest level of Security. We do not store credit card information,
the details you give us can only be read by us and we defininitely
do not disclose any details to anybody else. After your transaction
all your details are safely destroyed
The Colchester
Club usually meets on the last
Friday of each month. Check the Front
Page of the website for the next date.
Margaret, who used to manage our Colchester branch is host to
the regular meetings at the George Hotel, 116 High Street, Colchester
from 10am to Noon. If you would like a closer look at any bear
on our website, Margaret will bring it along to the meeting.
Please inform the shop on 01603 766866 on the Wednesday before
the meeting at the latest. Complimentary coffee and cakes are
served. Just come along, you will be in good company and there
is definitely no sales pressure
